Melody's Echo Chamber is the dream-pop/psychedelic music project of French musician Melody Prochet. Prochet first emerged into the music scene as a classically trained musician and former member of the Parisian band My Bee's Garden. Her breakthrough as a solo artist came when she released her self-titled debut album "Melody's Echo Chamber" in 2012. The album was a collaborative effort with Kevin Parker of Tame Impala fame, whose production added a lush, psychedelic veneer to Prochet’s ethereal vocals and nuanced songwriting. The project quickly gained acclaim for its fusion of dreamy pop sensibilities with experimental psych-rock textures, evidenced in tracks such as "Some Time Alone, Alone."
The follow-up to her debut, "Bon Voyage," was released in 2018 after a period of personal hardship and recovery from a severe accident that Prochet suffered in 2017. The album showcased a more adventurous and eclectic sound, weaving together elements of jazz, funk, and folk. Songs like "Breathe In, Breathe Out" and "Desert Horse" exhibit her capacity for sonic exploration and emotional depth. Melody's Echo Chamber’s music continues to captivate listeners with its atmospheric layers and Prochet’s enchanting melodies. With the release of their third studio album, "Emotional Eternal" in 2022, Prochet offered a more serene and reflective set of songs, such as "Personal Message" and "Looking Backward," once again evolving her sound while retaining the signature ethereal quality that has defined Melody's Echo Chamber’s place in the indie music landscape.
