Flock of Dimes

Flock of Dimes is the solo project of Baltimore-based musician Jenn Wasner, who is also known for her work as one half of the indie rock duo Wye Oak. The project was initiated as a creative outlet for Wasner's exploration of electronic textures and more personal, introspective songwriting. First taking flight in 2011 with a number of singles and EPs, Flock of Dimes mixes ethereal sounds with poignant lyrics, showcasing Wasner's versatility and evolution as an artist.

The project's full-length debut, "If You See Me, Say Yes," was released in 2016 and was met with critical acclaim for its lush soundscapes and emotionally resonant compositions. One of the project's more recent works, the album "Head of Roses," which includes the evocative "Head of Roses: Phantom Limb," underscores Wasner's ability to weave vulnerability into intricate melodies. Not confined to solo endeavors, the track "Ever New (Reworked by Bon Iver & Flock Of Dimes)" represents collaborative efforts that extend the depth and reach of Flock of Dimes' sonic universe. With a catalogue that also features live recordings, such as "Live at Betty's," and remixes like "The Joke (Bayonne Remix)," Flock of Dimes continues to enchant listeners with its hauntingly beautiful and expansive sound.
