Their 1990 breakout album, *Idiots out Wandering Around*, and follow-ups like *One Big Cake* (1993) and *Glass Cockpit* (1995) showcased their knack for pairing off-kilter lyrics with propulsive rhythms, earning them slots touring with acts like Fugazi and The Breeders.
