The band was formed in 2018 by singer-songwriter and guitarist Nick Gross, bassist and vocalist Emily Rosenfield, and drummer and vocalist Jake Smelley. Thousand Frames' music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric sound, introspective lyrics, and soaring melodies. The band has released two EPs, "Nothing" and "Has Somebody Heard From You?", and is currently working on their debut album.
