Ketchup

Ketchup, whose real name is Onyido Nkemjika, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter known for his versatility in genres such as Afropop, Afrobeats, and Afrodancehall. Born and raised in Lagos, Ketchup discovered his passion for music at a young age, influenced by his late father's love for legendary artists like Bob Marley. He began his music career in 2010 with the debut song "Nuvo," which received a warm reception and led to him winning the Malaysian AEA Awards. Ketchup's rise to fame continued with hits like "On The Beat" and "Show Me Yuh Rozay," the latter becoming a national anthem across Nigeria and West Africa. Despite facing setbacks, including a serious accident in 2016, Ketchup remains a prominent figure in the Nigerian music scene.
