Martin Barre
Martin Barre is an English guitarist best known for his long-running role as the lead guitarist of Jethro Tull. He joined the band in 1969 and became a key part of their sound for decades, contributing memorable electric guitar work across their classic run.
Outside of Jethro Tull, Barre has pursued a solo career and various projects under his own name, often blending rock with more acoustic and exploratory material, and he’s continued to tour and record extensively.
