Arcadea
Arcadea is an American synth-metal supergroup from Atlanta, formed in 2015 by Mastodon drummer Brann Dailor, Zruda guitarist Core Atoms, and guitarist Raheem Amlani. Known for their psychedelic, synth-heavy progressive metal sound, the band released their self-titled debut album in 2017 through Relapse Records. The collaboration between Atoms and Dailor traces back to the late 1990s when they played together in the progressive funk trio Gaylord. Arcadea’s music explores futuristic and sci-fi themes, with their 2025 album *The Exodus of Gravity* portraying a post-human universe set five billion years in the future, featuring a groovy, danceable blend of synths, agile drums, and psychedelic guitar lines, with Dailor taking on lead vocals and new member João Nogueira joining on synths.
