Fifth Harmony was an American girl group formed on the second season of "The X Factor US" in July 2012, which went on to achieve significant success in the pop music industry. The members of the group included Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello (until her departure from the group in December 2016), and Lauren Jauregui. They signed a joint record deal with Syco Music, owned by Simon Cowell, and Epic Records, L.A. Reid's record label, after finishing in third place on the show.
The group's work is characterized by their strong vocal harmonies, empowering lyrics, and pop-infused R&B beats. With their debut EP "Better Together" in 2013, Fifth Harmony generated immediate buzz, which was followed by a series of successful albums: "Reflection" (2015), "7/27" (2016), and their self-titled album "Fifth Harmony" (2017). They are perhaps best known for their smash hit "Worth It (feat. Kid Ink)" and the chart-topping single "Work from Home," which solidified their standing as one of the most prominent girl groups of the 2010s. Despite their worldwide success, Fifth Harmony announced an indefinite hiatus in 2018 to pursue solo careers, leaving behind a legacy of breaking barriers and inspiring a new generation of pop artists.
