Deniz Toprak

Deniz Toprak is a celebrated Turkish folk singer and soloist, born on January 15, 1977, in Kurtalan, Siirt. She has Kurdish heritage from her mother's side and Arab descent from her father's. Toprak began her music career by recording her first amateur album in 1996 and later pursued formal music education, studying solfege, singing, music notation, and bağlama. She has released several albums and singles, including *Türkümolası* in 2007 and *Sarıl Bana* in 2013. Her recent releases include *Sen Mi Ben Mi?*, *Bendedir*, *Vay Sürmeli*, and *Xim Xime Torevan*. Toprak has also provided backing vocals for renowned artists and hosted the show *Yerel Starlar*.
