Elvira Bill is a German mezzo-soprano known for her versatility across various musical epochs and genres. She studied singing with Professor Christoph Prégardien at the Kölner Musikhochschule, where she completed her diploma with distinction in 2010. During her studies in Mönchengladbach, she received encouragement from Reinhard Becker and later explored historical performance practice with counter-tenor Kai Wessel. Her repertoire includes works by old masters as well as contemporary music, with a focus on oratorios and recitals. She has performed under renowned conductors such as Sylvain Cambreling and Helmuth Rilling, singing at prestigious venues including the Berliner Philharmonie, Rheingau Musikfestival, and Bachfest Leipzig.
