The Poppees

The Poppees are a vibrant indie pop band hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, with a unique sound that blends infectious melodies and harmonious vocals. They made their mark on the local music scene with their engaging performances and have drawn influence from a diverse range of genres, including 60s pop, punk, and even modern hip-hop. Their recent tracks such as "Admyral Byrd," "Macy Baby," and "Sunrise" showcase their evolving style, which incorporates elements of psych-pop and heartfelt storytelling.

Originally formed from the remnants of another group, The Artificial Flower Company, The Poppees have cultivated a strong following by consistently playing gigs around the Salt Lake City area and participating in tribute shows. Their 2018 album, *Hot Dogs and Wine*, received praise for its catchy tunes and strong production, and they are known for their lively performances that honor musical legends while showcasing their original works. As they continue to record new material and grow their fanbase, The Poppees exemplify the spirit of modern indie music with a nod to the pop sounds of the past.
