Firefall

Firefall is an American rock band that first cast its melodic spell on listeners during the 1970s. The band was formed in Boulder, Colorado, in 1974 by a group of talented musicians, including Rick Roberts, who had been a part of The Flying Burrito Brothers, and Jock Bartley, who succeeded Tommy Bolin in Zephyr. Firefall's smooth and lyrical fusion of country, folk, and soft rock, along with their rich vocal harmonies, swiftly distinguished them in the music scene.

Firefall found commercial success with a string of hits in the late 1970s and early 1980s, such as "You Are the Woman," "Just Remember I Love You," and "Strange Way." Their self-titled debut album released in 1976 quickly went Gold, and they followed it up with a series of successful records like "Luna Sea" (1977) and "Elan" (1978). Over the years, Firefall underwent numerous lineup changes but continued to tour and bring their classic sound to fans new and old. With their recent releases, such as "Comet" and the live recordings encapsulating previous performances such as "Live in Denver, CO 11/9/79" and "Legends Live in Concert," Firefall delivers a nostalgic trip through their rich catalogue, while also exploring new musical horizons. Their enduring appeal and contributions to the genre assure Firefall a fond placement in the tapestry of classic American rock music.
