Frail Hands is a searingly intense screamo band that originally formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Their music is characterized by a potent blend of raw emotion and explosive energy, underpinned by lyrical themes that grapple with personal trauma, mental health, and societal issues. The collective came together with a shared aim to express their innermost thoughts and feelings through a relentless sonic assault, influenced by the emotive hardcore of the late 90s and early 2000s.

The group emerged into the screamo scene with their self-titled debut, "Frail Hands," in August 2017, which immediately set the tone for their fervent and earnest approach to the genre. Always willing to push their creative boundaries, they followed up with a collaborative effort entitled "Split," released in September 2018 with fellow screamo outfit Ghost Spirit, fostering a formidable union in underground circles. Frail Hands continued their emotional and aural onslaught with their second full-length album, "parted/departed/apart," released in July 2020. This release cemented their reputation as purveyors of intense passion and unyielding catharsis, furthering their impact in the screamo and hardcore punk communities.
