FOMIES is a five-piece garage-fuzz band hailing from Vevey, Switzerland, known for its lo-fi, fuzz-drenched sound inspired by obscure, badly recorded records captured in unusual settings. Since their formation in 2017, they have built a reputation for high-energy live performances at venues ranging from sweaty clubs to major festivals like Montreux Jazz and Bad Bonn Kilbi. Their music blends surf-punk and broken-tape garage rock roots with psychedelic and krautrock influences, especially after expanding their lineup to include a keyboardist, which added a cosmic dimension to their sound.

Over the years, FOMIES has released several records, including *Reversal*, *Sudden Lag*, and *Ominous Prominence*, which showcase their evolving sound that balances sludgy motorik rhythms with hypnotic and unpredictable grooves.
