VANDAL X

VANDAL X is a Belgian noiserock duo from Limburg, formed in 1995 and currently consisting of Bart Timmermans on vocals and guitar, and Günther Liket on drums. The band took their name from a track by the American noiserock band Unsane. Over the years, they have released several albums including *Little Man's Blues* (1997), their official debut, which featured production assistance from Mauro Pawlowski, and they later worked with famed American producer Steve Albini. Known for their raw, intense sound, VANDAL X has performed multiple times at the prominent Pukkelpop festival, cementing their presence in the Belgian alternative music scene.

Their discography spans multiple releases from 1996 through recent years, reflecting their evolution within the noise rock and sludge/doom genres. The band has maintained a distinctive underground appeal with albums such as *Songs from the Heart* (1999), *13 Basic Hate Tracks* (2002), and *Vandal X* (2015), showcasing their enduring commitment to gritty, powerful rock music.
