Sun Smash Palace is an indie rock band from Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 2015, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Jack Colwell, bassist and vocalist Tom Larnach-Jones, and drummer James Donald. Their music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric soundscapes, introspective lyrics, and jangly guitars. Sun Smash Palace has released two EPs and two full-length albums, including their critically acclaimed 2020 album "New July." Their music has been praised for its emotional depth, sonic experimentation, and ability to evoke a sense of nostalgia and longing.
