Phil Soussan

Phil Soussan is an English bassist, songwriter, and producer best known in hard rock circles for his work with Ozzy Osbourne in the late ’80s—he co-wrote the hit “Shot in the Dark” and played bass on *The Ultimate Sin* (1986), also appearing with Ozzy on tour. Before and after that high-profile stint, he’s been a well-traveled player in the rock world, with credits that include the band Wildlife and later involvement with projects like Last in Line (featuring members connected to Dio’s classic lineup).
