Fuzz Lightyear is a noise-grunge band from Leeds, UK, known for their ferocious blend of shoegaze, industrial noise-rock, and punk. Formed in 2019, the band is comprised of Ben Parry (vocals, guitar), Josh Taylor (drums), Varun Govil (bass), and Alex Calder (synth, guitar). They started as a duo between Ben and Josh during their time at Leeds Conservatoire before expanding into the noisy, intense four-piece they are today. Their sound is loud, raw, and full of energy, characterized by heavy use of guitar pedals, fast tempos, and a focus on tone and rhythm over conventional melody.
