Abhijit Banerjee

Pandit Abhijit Banerjee is a renowned tabla player and composer in Indian classical music. He belongs to the Farukhabad Gharana and has been a disciple of the guru Jnan Prakash Ghosh. Banerjee is known for his unique style and innovative approach, earning him many accolades. He has performed extensively worldwide, accompanying top artists in Hindustani classical music and establishing himself as a tabla soloist. In addition to traditional Indian music, he has explored world music crossovers and composed for various media, including TV serials and documentaries. He founded the Dhwani Academy of Percussion, offering educational workshops on Indian music.
