Galants

Galants are a shoegaze/noisegaze/indie rock guitar band from Dublin, known for their energetic sound that blends jangled pop tones reminiscent of Teenage Fanclub, the fuzzed-out assault of Dinosaur Jr, and the reverberated bombast of My Bloody Valentine. They have released several singles, including "This is Heaven," "Seventeen," and "Out of Sight," which garnered attention from publications like the Irish Times and Hot Press. Their debut EP, self-titled as "Galants," was released in May 2017 on 10” Vinyl and digital platforms. The lead single "Evergreen" received significant praise, with Hot Press marking it as a "Track of the Fortnight" for its heart-swelling garage rock. More recently, they've released tracks like "In Vain" and others that continue to showcase their evolving sound.

Galants have maintained a consistent aesthetic of cascading guitars and riotous drums, with a focus on creating a distinctive sound that pays homage to their influences while carving out their own path in the indie rock scene.
