Jadal

Jadal is a Jordanian Arabic rock band, founded in Amman, Jordan in 2003 by composer, guitarist, and music producer Mahmoud Radaideh. The band has carved out a significant niche in the Middle Eastern music scene, innovating in a space where traditional Arabic music and rock coalesce. Known for their energetic performances and for pioneering the Arabic rock genre, Jadal has established themselves as one of the most prominent and influential bands in the region.

Their music journey gained significant momentum with their first single, "Salma," released in 2009, which was a radical departure from mainstream Arabic music at that time. Jadal's discography includes releases like "Arabic Rocks" which is considered an anthem for Arabic rock music. With their recent releases such as "Fattaht" and "Ya Mal El Sham? (Cube Sessions)," Jadal continues to push boundaries, experimenting with different styles and incorporating diverse musical influences. These variations are evident in their Red Bull Sound Clash performances where they presented a rich tapestry of melodies and rhythms, showcasing their versatility through adaptations of their songs into Khaliji, Chaabi, and Hip-Hop versions. With a loyal fan base and a reputation for blending poignant Arabic lyrics with rock music, Jadal remains a trailblazer in their genre, resonating with audiences across the Middle East and beyond.
