My Friend Catie is an indie pop band from Los Angeles, California. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Catie Turner, bassist and vocalist Emily Kempf, and drummer and vocalist Ryan Johnson. My Friend Catie's music is characterized by its catchy melodies, dreamy harmonies, and introspective lyrics. The band has released two EPs, "In Your Head" and "Technicolor Dream," and a full-length album, "Twisted." My Friend Catie has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The Shins, Death Cab for Cutie, and Tegan and Sara.
