Tyler Connolly

Tyler Connolly is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the Canadian rock band Theory of a Deadman (often stylized as THEORY). Formed in 2001, the band quickly gained momentum after being the first act signed to Chad Kroeger's (Nickelback) label, 604 Records. Known for his gritty voice and anthemic rock songwriting, Connolly has been the driving creative force behind some of the band's biggest hits, including "Bad Girlfriend," "Rx (Medicate)," and "Not Meant to Be." His songwriting often blends elements of alternative rock, post-grunge, and pop, tackling themes ranging from personal relationships to broader social issues.

Over the years, Tyler has helped evolve Theory of a Deadman's sound from hard rock roots to incorporate more diverse influences, with later albums exploring piano-driven ballads and electronic textures.
