Mumble Tide is a Bristol-based indie duo consisting of Gina Leonard and Ryan Rogers. The pair formed out of a mutual frustration with previous musical projects, embracing a "no rules, no questions" approach to writing and recording. Their sound blends elements of bedroom pop, dream pop, and indie rock, with Leonard's crystalline vocals anchoring their kaleidoscopic indie style.
The duo started releasing music in 2020, with their debut EP "Love Thing" coming out in November of that year. They followed this with their mini-album "Everything Ugly" in December 2021. Mumble Tide's DIY ethos extends to all aspects of their work, from recording music at home to directing their own music videos. Their live performances have varied from intimate duo shows to larger band setups, showcasing the versatility of their music.
