Dee Daimary is an Indian folk‑rock singer‑songwriter and multi‑instrumentalist from the northeastern state of Assam who blends traditional Assamese folk melodies and instruments with contemporary indie and pop arrangements; raised in Guwahati, she began performing at local cultural festivals as a teenager, released her debut EP Echoes of the Hills in 2021 which featured the single “Rang” and earned her national radio airplay, and has since toured across India and abroad, gaining recognition for her lyrical focus on cultural identity, social issues and environmental stewardship while championing the preservation of Assamese musical heritage.
