Florian Caroubi

Florian Caroubi is a versatile French pianist and conductor known for his eclectic approach to music, embracing a wide range of repertoires from solo piano to chamber music, vocal accompaniment, and orchestral conducting. He has performed internationally in prestigious venues such as the Philharmonie de Berlin, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Teatru Manoel in Malta, Philharmonie de Paris, and major opera houses in Lille, Marseille, and Lyon. His collaborations include working with notable artists such as clarinetist Nicolas Baldeyrou, violinist Anna Göckel, and several leading vocalists including mezzo-soprano Adèle Charvet, with whom he has a long-standing duo partnership. Together, they have won multiple international prizes and recorded several acclaimed albums celebrating French mélodie and art song, such as *Belle époque!* which honors the repertoire of the great French composers of the early 20th century and their poets.

Caroubi began his musical journey as a child, initially studying guitar before focusing on piano in Marseille and later advancing at the Conservatoire Supérieur National de Musique et Danse in Lyon. He has won awards including the first prizes at the Nuits Pianistiques and the International Competition of Montrond-les-Bains. Beyond performance, he also composes and produces his own piano transcriptions of orchestral works.
