**The Spiral Electric** is a San Francisco-based heavy psychedelic rock band known for their energetic and melodic sound. Formed by songwriting duo Clay Andrews and Nicolas Percey after meeting at a concert in 2009, the group combines elements of psychedelic rock, stoner rock, and shoegaze to create a unique blend of music. Their early releases, such as "Upon Your Shore" (2015) and "Ask the Sky" (2016), set the stage for their more recent heavier sound, as seen in their self-titled double album "The Spiral Electric" (2019), which was recorded with Steve Kille and mastered by Howie Weinberg. The current lineup includes Clay Andrews, Nicolas Percey, Matias Drago, and Ryan McKnight.

The Spiral Electric has toured extensively, sharing stages with notable bands like Dead Meadow, The Kills, and Black Mountain. They are recognized for their intense live performances and have played at various festivals, including Desert Stars and SubZero.
