Keystone Wind Ensemble

The Keystone Wind Ensemble is a celebrated American wind ensemble that serves as the professional recording and performing group of Keystone Winds, an organization founded in 1992. Based at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and directed by the renowned conductor and composer Dr. Jack Stamp, the ensemble is dedicated to preserving and expanding the wind band repertoire through high-quality recordings and performances.

Known for its rich, symphonic sound and commitment to both classic band literature and new works, the ensemble has released a prolific series of albums, often focusing on specific composers or thematic collections. Their recordings frequently highlight music by American composers, such as Samuel Adler, Jack Stamp himself, and African American composers, while also offering definitive interpretations of classic British and contemporary wind ensemble works. The group is a regular featured performer at major international events like the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles (WASBE) conference.
