SAME PAINS is a post-punk band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2018, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Jason Balla, bassist and vocalist Meredith Lones, and drummer Matt Kadane. SAME PAINS' music is characterized by its dark, atmospheric sound, with driving basslines, distorted guitars, and haunting vocals. Their lyrics often explore themes of alienation, loss, and the search for meaning in a chaotic world. The band has released two EPs, "kin of death" and "blur," and is currently working on their debut album.
