KRNA

KRNA is a dream pop and shoegaze band from Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, formed by longtime music-scene friends KC Salazar (vocals and electric guitar), Andrei Castro (guitar), Francis Ramos (keyboards/synth), Al Gabriel (bass guitar), and Janro Abian (drums), with the lineup stabilizing around 2022. Their name is inspired by the Japanese term "kire-ina," meaning beautiful, and this sense of beauty runs through their original songs, live performances, and visually striking music videos. Since hitting the local scene, KRNA has built a reputation for breezy yet powerful indie sounds—exemplified on their acclaimed debut EP "The River Gold" (2018)—while also supporting the city’s growing music community through DIY shows and workshops.

Recent releases, including singles like "I’m Wrong," "Dream Again," and "In Time," have continued to showcase their knack for lush, dreamy soundscapes and catchy melodies, promising more growth from this homegrown act.
