Frank DeVol was a prolific composer, arranger, and conductor who led his own orchestra for many years. DeVol's orchestra was known for its lush, romantic sound, and it was often featured on film and television soundtracks. DeVol himself was a talented musician and arranger, and he wrote many of the orchestra's most popular songs. He also worked with a wide range of artists, including Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, and Doris Day. DeVol's orchestra continued to perform and record until his death in 1999.
