YAOCHEN

Yaochen, also known as Ivan Yao, is a Chinese singer and former member of the boy band R1SE. He hails from Chongqing, China, and initially gained prominence through his participation in a Tencent audition reality show, where he secured 5th place. This led to his debut with R1SE. Following his stint with the group, Yaochen pursued a solo career, starting with the release of his digital single "NEVERMIND" in December 2020. He continues to expand his solo discography, releasing tracks like "TURN UP" (Korean version) and several recent albums and singles. Yaochen trained under JYP Entertainment in the past, where he was part of the same training program as Stray Kids. He is currently signed with FANLING CULTURE, a subsidiary of JYP CHINA.

Yaochen's recent releases showcase a diverse musical style, including tracks like "Better With You," "L.I.V.E.," and "Rum Tonight." His music reflects a vibrant and dynamic approach, blending different genres to create unique sounds.
