The Pleasure Principle is an indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2009, the band consists of vocalist and guitarist Sam Ray, bassist Alex Naidus, and drummer Matt McDermott. Their music is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric sound, with shimmering guitars, ethereal vocals, and hypnotic rhythms. The band has released several critically acclaimed albums, including "For the Future" (2011) and "Under the Impression" (2013). Their latest album, "Orientally Yours," was released in 2022 and showcases their continued evolution and experimentation.
