Jeremiah Clarke was a fiery English Baroque composer best known for creating one of classical music's greatest earworms - the triumphant *Trumpet Voluntary* (aka *Prince of Denmark's March*), which you've definitely heard at royal weddings or period film soundtracks. Active around the late 1600s to early 1700s, this Londoner rocked the organ loft at St. Paul's Cathedral and pumped out church music alongside his contemporary Henry Purcell. Ironically, his iconic trumpet fanfare was mistakenly credited to Purcell for centuries before scholars finally gave Clarke his due! Though his life ended tragically young by suicide in 1707, his brass-heavy bangers like *The Prince of Denmark's March* keep blasting through concert halls and brass ensembles worldwide, proving some Baroque bops just never go out of style.
