Klapa Grdelin

Klapa Grdelin was founded in February 2000 in Zagreb, Croatia. This a cappella group specializes in traditional Dalmatian songs, drawing heavily from the rich musical heritage of Split and its surroundings. Their repertoire includes original Dalmatian songs arranged by notable composers and ethnomusicologists, along with popular and traditional folk tunes. Over the years, Klapa Grdelin has performed at numerous concerts and festivals in Croatia and Europe, including the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, and Germany. One of their notable achievements includes releasing their first album, "Parvi," which was promoted in 2006 and 2007 in Zagreb and Split, respectively.

Klapa Grdelin's performances have been well-received at various events, including the Dalmatian Klapa Festival in Omiš, where they have appeared in the final multiple times and won several awards. Their music reflects the deep-rooted klapa tradition, which is now recognized as part of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The group consists of several talented vocalists, including tenors, baritones, and basses, who bring life to their harmonious a cappella performances.
