Joe Gordon
Joe Gordon was an American jazz trumpeter active in the 1950s and early 1960s, primarily associated with the West Coast jazz scene. He was known for his skilled bebop and hard bop style, performing and recording with several notable musicians of his era. Gordon played with artists like Clifford Brown and was recognized for his work in Los Angeles jazz circles before his untimely death in 1963. His recordings, including albums like "The Jazz School" and "West Coast Days - Live at the Lighthouse Hermosa Beach, California," helped document the vibrant West Coast jazz movement of that period.
