Astronoid

Astronoid is a post-metal band from Lowell, Massachusetts, formed in 2012. The current lineup consists of Brett Boland (vocals, guitar), Daniel Schwartz (bass), Casey Aylward (guitar), and Matt St. Jean (drums). Their sound blends elements of shoegaze, alternative rock, black metal, and post-metal, drawing comparisons to bands like Alcest, Devin Townsend, and Sigur Rós.

Since their formation, Astronoid has released three studio albums: "Air" (2016), their self-titled "Astronoid" (2019), and "Radiant Bloom" (2022). They've also put out two EPs, "November" (2012) and "Stargazer" (2013). The band has gained recognition for their unique "dream thrash" style, featuring fast-paced instrumentation combined with soaring, clean vocals.
