V for Volume is a Colombian rock band formed in Bogotá in 2008. The band originally consisted of vocalist María José Camargo, guitarists Nicolás Corredor and Juan Camilo Osman, and bassist Hans Vollert. They gained early recognition with their EP *Party's Over* in 2009 and their debut album *Providence* in 2010. After a hiatus, they returned in 2016 with new music, including the album *Gravity*. Over the years, the band has undergone lineup changes, with María José Camargo and Hans Vollert remaining core members. In recent years, V for Volume has released several EPs and singles, and in 2024, they announced their third album, *Plan de Fuga*, which explores themes inspired by science fiction and cyberpunk.
The band's current lineup includes María José Camargo on vocals, Miguel Rebolledo on guitar, Arturo González on drums, and Hans Vollert on bass. Their music often blends energetic rock with introspective lyrics, reflecting a dynamic and evolving sound over their career.
