Ferenc Sapszon was a Hungarian choral conductor and composer born on December 14, 1929 in Szeged, Hungary. He studied at the Ferenc Liszt Conservatory in Budapest from 1950 to 1957, where he trained under Zoltán Vásárhelyi. Sapszon went on to become the head of the choir of the Hungarian Radio and Television (MRT) from 1966 onwards, making significant contributions to Hungary's choral music scene.
