Fran Ri

Fran Ri is a multifaceted Chilean artist known for her work as a singer, actress, and composer. She has been the leader of the band Newen Afrobeat for over seven years, showcasing her strength, charisma, and versatility on stage. Fran Ri has performed at numerous national and international events, including the Montreal Jazz Festival, Felabration in Nigeria, and Lollapalooza in Chile. In addition to her work with Newen Afrobeat, she founded the project "Madam & Samurai Groove," which released a self-titled LP in 2020. This project blended Afro-American music with neo-soul, hip-hop, jazz, and funk. Recently, Fran Ri has embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut EP titled "Ri-tmo," which includes singles like "Viaje Ligero" and collaborations with artists such as Nekki and Mirko Polic. Her music often reflects a dynamic fusion of styles, highlighting her creativity and musical range.
