Bowman Aremwaki

Bowman Aremwaki is a 26-year-old Ugandan artist from Western Uganda. His musical journey began in church, where he was inspired by his mother's involvement in the choir. He co-founded the music collective Shwento in 2020, aiming to unite artists from his region. However, by December 2022, Aremwaki started pursuing a solo career, culminating in his debut EP, *Public Notice*, released in 2024. This EP blends genres like Dancehall, Afrobeats, and R&B, showcasing his versatility. Aremwaki incorporates his native Kiga language and other languages into his songs to connect with diverse audiences. He is optimistic about the future of Ugandan and East African music, noting increased global recognition and investment in the industry.

Aremwaki's music style is a fusion of various genres, and he emphasizes music as a universal language. He has also ventured into music production under the tag "1998," inspired by his birth year. His recent releases include tracks like *ALRIGHT*, *BODY*, and *PUBLIC NOTICE*, among others. Aremwaki's career highlights include performing as a headliner in Rwanda, marking a significant milestone in his journey as a solo artist.
