Francisca y Los Exploradores

Francisca y Los Exploradores is the creative project led by Franco Saglietti, a talented musician originally from Córdoba, Argentina. Franco moved to Buenos Aires in his early twenties with a few friends, bringing along the musical spirit that fuels Francisca—a persona that channels the songs he writes. Over the years, the band has released several albums starting with *Barbuda*, followed by *Ra*, and most recently *Hermafrodita* in 2018, which was recorded in Mexico and produced by Gonzalo Aloras. Their sound blends modern Argentine rock with electronic touches, characterized by intimate lyrics and a strong artistic identity that explores themes like gender identity and inclusion with subtlety and humor.

The lineup includes Franco Saglietti on vocals and sampler, Bruno Dante Ferro on drums, Ítalo Luciano Ferro on guitars, Niko Garay on synths and piano, and Kevin Borensztein on bass and synth bass. Francisca y Los Exploradores have gained recognition for their innovative approach to pop and rock, performing at events like Lollapalooza Buenos Aires in 2016, and have a growing presence across Latin America. The project is known for its rich, eclectic soundscapes and thoughtful lyrics, as well as Franco’s distinctive look and playful engagement with concepts of identity through the music and performances.
