Frederik Magle

Frederik Magle is a Danish composer, organist, and pianist known for his emotionally charged works that blend contemporary classical, jazz, and spiritual influences. Born in 1977 into a musical family (his father, Per Magle, was also a composer and organist), he began composing as a child and gained recognition early in his career for pieces like *The Hope* for organ, choir, and orchestra. His music often explores themes of transcendence and human connection, showcased in works ranging from intimate meditations like *Dawn – Meditation for Organ* to grand ceremonial pieces like *Skyward – Fanfare and Anthem*.
