**Hard n'Dogs** (often stylized as *Hard'n'Dogs*) is a raucous rock side project led by Finnish glam-punk icon Michael Monroe, best known as the frontman of Hanoi Rocks. Formed in the late 1980s, the band channels a scrappy, streetwise vibe blending garage rock grit with punk energy. Their tracks, like the sneering "The Client Is Always Wrong" and the demo-tape roughness of "On the Beat," lean into raw, unpolished riffs and lyrics that flirt with rebellion and working-class swagger. While not as globally prominent as Monroe’s main act, Hard n'Dogs has cultivated a cult following for its no-frills, beer-soaked anthems (see "Little Bit Tough Dog" for maximum bark-and-bite attitude). The project remains a fun, loose outlet for Monroe’s love of unapologetic, down-and-dirty rock ‘n’ roll.
