Ceremony

**Ceremony** emerged from Rohnert Park, California, in 2005, kicking off as a ferocious hardcore punk act before evolving into a shapeshifting force blending post-punk, noise rock, and moody alternative. Fronted by Ross Farrar’s raw, introspective lyrics, the band—Anthony Anzaldo (guitar), Andy Nelson (bass), Justin Davis (drums), and Jake Casarotti (guitar)—built a reputation for restless creativity, trading breakneck aggression for brooding atmospheres on albums like *Zoo* (2012) and *The L-Shaped Man* (2015). Their recent releases, including punchy tracks like “East Coast” and “Disappear,” showcase their knack for merging melodic hooks with gritty tension, proving they’re still masters of reinvention. Whether snarling through basement shows or crafting haunting anthems, Ceremony remains a staple for fans craving raw emotion and sonic experimentation.
