Wayward Dawn

Wayward Dawn is a Danish death metal band from Skanderborg, formed in 2015. Known for their relentless, groove-laden sound, they blend elements of sludge and black metal while prioritizing raw energy and aggression. Their studio debut, *Soil Organic Matter*, and later works like *All-Consuming Void* showcase cavernous, adrenaline-fueled death metal with nods to classic influences like Gojira and Behemoth, anchored by visceral vocals and pummeling riffs. Their studio collaborations with producer Jacob Bredahl have helped shape their dense, unforgiving sound.
