Flor Peeters (1903–1986) was a Belgian composer, organist, and music educator, known for his contributions to sacred and organ music. A virtuoso organist, he served as the titular organist at St. Rumbold's Cathedral in Mechelen and was highly regarded for his performances across Europe and the United States. His compositions, which blend classical traditions with modern influences, include masses, motets, and numerous works for organ. Peeters also played a key role in music education, teaching at the Lemmens Institute and the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, where he influenced a generation of musicians. His music remains a staple in liturgical and concert repertoires worldwide.
