Timal
Timal, born Timothée Régnier, is a French rapper who emerged in the mid-2010s. Hailing from the Parisian suburb of Argenteuil, Timal gained recognition for his raw and introspective lyrics, often exploring themes of love, loss, and the struggles of growing up in a disadvantaged environment. His music is characterized by its melodic flow, catchy hooks, and a blend of hip-hop, R&B, and Afrobeat influences. Timal's breakout hit, "Filtré," released in 2017, catapulted him to mainstream success, and he has since released several acclaimed albums and singles, solidifying his position as one of the most promising young talents in French rap.
