ROVO

ROVO is a genre-blurring Japanese instrumental ensemble formed in the late '90s, known for fusing psychedelic rock, electronic beats, and hypnotic rhythms into a sound they cheekily call "NEO-psychedelic trance rock." Built around the core duo of drummer Yasuhiro Yoshigaki (formerly of the Boredoms) and guitarist Seiichi Yamamoto, the band layers electric violin, synths, and percussive textures over frenetic drum'n'bass-inspired grooves.
