Chambao

Chambao is a Spanish band from Málaga, originally formed in 2001. They made waves with their unique fusion of flamenco and chillout electronic music, a style that came to be known as "flamenco chill." Their debut album, "Flamenco Chill," introduced this innovative sound to a wider audience, and their later works continued to blend modern electronic beats with traditional Andalusian roots. Over the years, the group evolved, eventually becoming a solo project led by vocalist María del Mar Rodríguez Carnero, better known as La Mari.

La Mari has guided Chambao through a successful career filled with heartfelt lyrics and genre-crossing sounds. Her voice—soulful and full of Andalusian flavor—has become synonymous with the band's identity.
